Hyderabad: Admissions to junior colleges for the upcoming academic year cannot be held until the academic schedule is released by the government, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education said on Saturday.
A notice released by board stated that admissions made in advance of the announcement will be invalidated, and strict action will be taken against erring management.
Parents have been cautioned against falling prey and signing up with colleges before the board’s notification.
The notice asks parents to refer to the TSBIE website after the official notification is released to see if their preferred college is in the affiliated list or not, and if the course is available. It said many courses were not sanctioned in colleges due to lack of facilities.
