Implement schemes for poor effectively: Bengaluru Development Minister KJ George
Bengaluru: Bengaluru Development Minister K.J. George has said that his party has taken several measures to improve the lives of the downtrodden and requested government officials to work as bridges in taking such special schemes to people.
After inaugurating a programme 'Jana Mana', here on Friday, he lamented that even decades after our country achieved independence, there has been little improvement in the condition of the underprivileged. He said his government’s motto was to work for the upliftment of economically weaker sections of the society and had announced schemes like Anna Bhagya yojane and others despite stiff resistance from political opponents.
