Actor Gayatri Raghuram’s twitter account suspended

Threaten me in person, she dares Thiruma, VCK.

CHENNAI: The Twitter account of Gayatri Raghuram, popular Tamil actress and dance choreographer, was suspended on Tuesday allegedly for violating
the rules and the contestant of Bigg Boss first season, dared VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan and his VCK to “threaten her in person” at the Marina on Nov. 27.

Alleging that the Parliamentarian Thirumavalavan’s men have been spreading her assistant’s number and harassing her, Gayatri issued an open challenge to them to meet her on the Marina. Her tweet "Downfall of thirumavalan starts as he start spreading my assistant number and harassing a woman. They all still
happily talk bad about Hindus and god’s. shameless MP", which went viral initially was later not available.

Contending that she was not afraid of threats “by ur fanatics or u indirectly,” Gayatri tweeted, “I’m ready to die for my religion and India. I know u will stoop to any level. I will face it. I will be in marina 10 am on nov 27 anyone can come threaten me directly. open challenge for thirumavalan. It’s open harassment by
thirumavalan. I will be back to talk human rights and police file complaint. Let’s see how how a goon will continue a MP. To mum media who knows to write bad and turn things controversial I’m harassed by thirumavalan goon and his goons. I did not vote him to be my mp especially one who talks ill of
Hindus. Please be present on nov 27 morning 10 am for threats.”

Her remarks caused an outrage among the members of the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK).

The party’s women wing members staged an agitation in Nungambakkam on Monday demanding Gayathri Raghuram’s arrest for allegedly trying to create caste conflict by speaking ill of party president, and MP. They also sought the police to book case under SC / ST Prevention of Atrocities Act and arrest her for denigrating the leaders and people of lower caste.
