Hyderabad: The Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao announced Siddipet District as an Open Defection Free district at a function held in Siddipet in the presence of Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, legislators S. Ramalinga Reddy, Yadagiri Reddy and others. He said that his constituency Siddipet had already become Open Defe-cation Free on October 2, 2015. By motivating people to construct individual toilets during the last two years, he said the entire district has been turned into an ODF. He said as many as 26,294 toilets were constructed in the last 26 days.
