Can't be buried, says Congress
WARANGAL: The Congress has a history of more than 120 years and no one including Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao or his son K.T. Rama Rao can bury it, said DCC president Naini Rajender Reddy.
He strongly condemned the remarks made by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari and Mr Rama Rao at a public meeting held on Saturday.
To Mr Srihari’s allegation that Congress leaders had encroached on land, Mr Rajender Reddy retorted that several facts of illegal settlements and land encroachments were being found in Nayeem mafia gang case.
On Mr Rama Rao, he said that just one month ago the minister was angry with Warangal officials because they had not spent funds. On Saturday, he showered praises on local leaders for developing the city. How is it possible, he asked.
