Stowaway found on Visakhapatnam ship
This was the first of its kind incident at the container terminal and police said it was not a case of human trafficking.
Visakhapatnam: A man in his mid thirties suspected to be a Bangladeshi was found in a dehydrated state in a container that had arrived from the Bangladesh port of Chittagong, at the Vizag port's container terminal.
This was the first of its kind incident at the container terminal and police said it was not a case of human trafficking. The man who was unable to talk was shifted to King George Hospital for treatment.
He was found in an empty container from Bangladesh which was booked by Vizag-based Samsara Shipping Company, local agents for the Geneva-based Mediterranean Shipping Company.
