Hyderabad: DGP Anurag Sharma on Monday directed SPs to draw up plans on the functioning of police headquarters in the new districts by October 1.
He directed SPs to exempt staff who had less than one year of service from transfer. He asked SPs to provide options to staff to select their workplace.
Mr Sharma told SPs that vehicles and other infrastructure would be provided in the new districts. SPs in new districts will be given Rs 50 lakh by the government to procure infrastructure, he said. He wanted them to look for new premises to host the SPs’ offices.
