Hyderabad: A war of words has erupted on Twitter over the Indo-China stand off in Doklam and on the demand for banning Chinese products in India.

Leaders and netizens are active on Twitter to air their views. Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted, “The Chinese army is in Doklam. They are throwing stones in Ladakh, occupied PoK building CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) and OBOR (One Belt One Road project) and the Modi government places trust in Chinese ship.”

Owaisi was responding to a tweet by mediaperson Suhasini Haidar. “When asked how Petrochina was given a contract to ship oil from the US to India, the minister says despite the border stand off, China is keen to do business.”

Samanullah, a netizen tweeted, “Even Sardar Patel’s Rs 3,000 crore statue is reportedly fabricated in China. At least can we not do that? What’s the use of Make in India programme?”
