KOTTAYAM: The police are investigating whether Jaison Francis, who landed in their net with a fake Facebook post on the Blue Whale game, had influenced anyone else to play the game which in its final stage demands the elimination of the player himself. "We will verify the Facebook account of the youth where he posted the picture of a blood-stained palm," Idukki CI Sibichen Joseph told DC.
The police will find out from his Facebook profile as to how many had liked his post or commented on it. On Friday, they had registered a case against the youth under the Information Technology Act 67 for promoting suicide tendencies among the younger generation. He has been admitted to the Bishop Vayalil memorial hospital at Thodupuzha for showing mental disturbances.
