ITF Leadership Academy launched in Coimbatore

The ITF Academy was inaugurated by Shiv Khera, author and business consultant at PSG iTECH campus on Friday.

COIMBATORE: The Indian Texpreneurs Federation launched ‘ITF Leadership Academy’ here, aimed at creating robust leadership qualities for employees of member organisations.

The ITF Academy was inaugurated by Shiv Khera, author and business consultant at PSG iTECH campus on Friday. Out of 650 member mills of ITF, 51 mills joined as partner for the academy.

Speaking about the initiative, convener, ITF, Prabhu Dhamodharan, said, “today’s businesses are facing a lot of challenges and opportunities. Several disruptions are happening in all parts of business. Any organisation needs to adapt to the changing needs quickly. For any organisation, the main strength lies in its core executives’ ability to respond to change.”

According to Prabhu, from ITF Leadership Academy, with continuous training, they are going to equip individual managers in various member organizations. He said, “the ITF Academy has launched three different courses for three different categories of executives in mills including general managers, middle-level managers and supervisors. From July 2019, the academy will launch programmes for middle-level managers.”

Manoj Kumar Jhajharia, JMD, Salona Cotspin Ltd., Saravanan, MD, United Bleachers Pvt. Ltd., Vasanth, MD, KNM Mills Pvt. Ltd., Dhanapal, MD, Best Group, and Bala, MD, Sree Rajasekar Spinning Mills Pvt. Ltd., were present.
