Hyderabad: Serilingampally should be at the forefront in implementing electric vehicles, said minister of IT K.T. Rama Rao on Thursday.

He expressed displeasure over the delay in works in the constituency despite the allocation of funds.

He held a review meeting with Serilingampally public representatives and officials on the welfare activities taken up in the constituency.

He said that Serilingampally has witnessed development of large-scale sectors such as information technology and IT-based industries, because of which this part of the city was expanding at a faster pace. MLA Arekapudi Gandhi pointed out to the lack of street lights and sanitation, and Mr Rao directed officials to immediately initiate work on providing these amenities.
