Kochi: The Thrissur district police suspended two civil police officers of the Pavaratty police station on Wednesday in connection with the suicide of a 19-year old boy after being taken into custody two days ago.
The state police chief had directed the district police to probe the incident as his relatives and friends alleged that he committed suicide following inhuman torture. Sreejith and Sajan were suspended on the basis of the assistant commissioner’s report indicting them.
