Big rush, Metro increases route frequency in Bengaluru
During the early hours the frequency will be 15 minutes
Bengaluru: Considering the rise in demand for Metro ridership on the East West corridor (Byappanahalli to Mysore Road) and to cope with the peak hour and weekend rush, the frequency of the train has been increased with one train every six minutes during peak hours.
During the weekdays (Monday to Friday) the highest frequency will be six minutes between 7.46 and 9.10 am for Mysore Road bound trains and same frequency from 8.22 am to 9.52 am for trains going towards Byappanahalli.
However, during the early hours the frequency will be 15 minutes. From 6 am to 7.15 am, the frequency will be 15 minutes (Byappanahalli to Mysore Road). Same frequency will be maintained during the corresponding time for trains running towards Byappanahalli.
