Vijayawada: A six-year-old boy died in an unexpected situation after a branch from tree fell on him on the school premises at Marispet in Tenali, Guntur district, on Wednesday.
According to Tenali III Town CI B. Hari Krishna, Bhimava-rapu Yuva Sandeep Reddy, was a Class I student in the Municipal Upper Primary School of Marispet.
After the school was completed in the afternoon, he was coming out of the premises when a branch from the eucalyptus tree fell on him and he suffered severe injuries. He also suffered a major fracture on his right leg and internal head injury that led to his death.
According to his friends, he was bidding adieu to his friends when the branch fell on him suddenly even when there was no wind.
His father Subbarami Reddy works as a cooking master. is working as a cooking master along with others. Police rushed to the spot and started an investigation after shifting the deceased body to the Tenali Government Hospital for postmortem.
