Telangana: Stay extended on online admissions

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Monday extended the stay on finalising of admissions through online mode for degree courses in private colleges in Telangana state for two more weeks.

Justice Sanjay Kumar extended the interim order while resuming hearing on a plea by managements of private degree colleges challenging the intervention by the state government in the admissions process by introducing the online admissions mode.

Earlier, the judge had allowed the private colleges to go ahead in making admissions while directing the managements and the state government not to finalise the process. The judge posted the case to Thursday.
