Finish works before fete: TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal

Review meet on Sarva Darshanam complex held.

Nellore: The works of Sarva Darshanam Complex should be completed before annual Brahmotsavams this year, directed TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal to the engineering officials. During a review meeting at TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Monday, the EO has instructed the CE Chandra Sekhar Reddy to complete the construction of Sarva Darshan Complex on the lines of Divya Darshan and Seeghra Darshan complexes in Tirumala before annual Brahmotsavams for the convenience of pilgrims.

The EO reviewed various development activities with respect to various departments in TTD along with JEOs K.S. Sreenivasa Raju and P. Bhaskar. To make convenient entry of pilgrims into compartments, the EO instructed the engineering officials to identify such points now itself so that there will not be any problem during Brahmotsavams. “More exhaust and fans need to be arranged in VQC compartments. The signage boards should be legible for the pilgrims from RTC bus stand to temple. More water points should be placed in Srivari Mettu route. The officials should think of increasing solar power usage in Tirumala and Tirupati”, he added.

“The LED lighting works should be arranged in Tirumala. More sophisticated lighting arrangements should be made to Tirumala temple to give an enhanced spiritual ambiance to the hill temple”, EO opined. The EO also instructed the officials concerned to list out ancient temples of Lord Venkateswara located in all the districts of Andhra Pradesh and chalk out a plan to bring back their past glory under TTD's SV Heritage Preservation Trust.

To enhance the look of temple city, the EO directed the engineering officials to go for beautification of major junctions. "Develop medians and green scapes to give aesthetic experience to denizens as well visitors. Go for pruning of trees for better greenery", EO added. Additional FACAO Balaji, Additional CVSO Siva Kumar Reddy, Special Grade DyEO Munirathnam Reddy were present.
