Hyderabad: Three persons of a family died on the spot after a speeding vehicle rammed into an autorickshaw at Parchalamitta in Jogulamba Gadwal district on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Jammullu, 45, her son Arjun and daughter-in-law Vaishali, residents of Dadourbapalli in Gadwal town.
According to police, the victims were vendors selling clothes. The accident took place when the passengers were proceeding to Raichur in Karnataka from Gadwal.
The trio had hired an auto to purchase clothes material at Raichur. When the auto reached Dadourpalli locality, a speeding vehicle coming from the opposite direction hit the auto. The police have registered a case and shifted the bodies to the district government hospital for post-mortem.
