Kannur: The repolling in seven polling booths, four in Kasargod Lok Sabha Constituency and three in Kannur Lok Sabha Constituency, concluded peacefully on Sunday.
The percentage of votes cast in booth number 19 of Pilathara in Kalliassery: 88.82 percent, booth number 69 of Puthiyangadi Jamath High School (North Block) 80.08, and booth number 70 of the Jamath High School (South Block): 79.96, all in Kasargod Lok Sabha Constituency.
The fourth one is booth number 166 of Mappila AUPS, Thaliparamba in Kannur Lok Sabha Constituency 82.95. Vengady Kunnirikka UPS 52nd booth 91.32, booth number 53: 89.05 per cent.
In the booth number 53 of the Kunnirikka UP School, polling was stopped for some time. The polling resumed after bringing another polling machine.
There was heated exchange of words at Pilathara and Kunnikkara between the booth agents of different political parties.
