Hyderabad: Three plot owners yet to turn up, say Officials

A senior GHMC official said that out of 67 plot owners in Uppal Bhagat, three owners did not show up after the auction.

Hyderabad: About three plot owners who participated in the Uppal Bhagat bidding and owned plots have not shown up to date. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority claims that the plot owners could not pay the full amounts since they had already owned more than one.

A senior GHMC official said that out of 67 plot owners in Uppal Bhagat, three owners did not show up after the auction. He said that the plots owners have already paid earnest money deposit (EMD) amount of `8 lakh for 200 square yard plots. He said that if owners did not show up, the money would be deposited in Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority’s account and will not be refunded.

Meanwhile, those who have won the bids have to pay 25 per cent of the price within a week. The balance 75 per cent has to be paid within 60 days from the date of confirmation of the successful bidder. In case the successful bidder wants to avail the instalment facility, the rest of the amount can be paid with 10 per cent simple interest in 90 days, 12 per cent interest in 180 days and 15 per cent interest in a year.
