Kalaburagi: Former Chincholi MLA and BJP leader Dr Umesh Jadhav remarked that the high per centage of voting in the bypoll indicated the result would go in his son Dr Avinash Jadhav’s favour.
"The feedback I have received is that my supporters have voted in big numbers and I'm hundred per cent sure of his victory", Dr Jadhav remarked. Asked whether he was happy with the voting percentage or was expecting a still higher percentage, Dr Jadhav said he was quite satisfied.
He did not agree with the view that in many cases the by-election results normally favoured the party(parties) in power.
