Kurnool: Seshanna, a reformed Maoist who turned into a key front man of extortionist Maoist Nayeem who was killed in an encounter a couple of years back, is reportedly under the watch of Telangana police who intend to nab him.
Seshanna, a native of Achampet in Nagar Kurnool district, allegedly has links with some criminals based at Bollavaram village in Kallur Mandal of Kurnool district.
According to sources, several real estate developers in Kurnool were said to have sought the support of Nayeem in expanding their business in Hyderabad as the man hed developed a formidable network in Kurnool district as also in Hyderabad.
When contacted about the pursuit of Telangana police, Kurnool DSP Srinivasulu said that they had no knowledge of it. Special branch police also confirmed that they did not receive any request for assistance.
