Telangana: Mega Engineering, Nagarjuna, L&T bag water scheme
Hyderabad: Mega Engineering, L&T and Nagarjuna Constructions have bagged one package each of the drinking water supply schemes under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation in urban local bodies of the state.
The state government had called tenders for the implementation of drinking water supply scheme in 10 urban local bodies in three packages worth Rs 1,521.34 crore.
L&T, Mega Engineering, Nagarjuna Constructions and GVPR submitted bids for the first two packages through e-procurement. For the third package, except GVPR, the other three companies expressed interest.
The first package is worth Rs 516.05 crore, the second package worth Rs 455.80 crore and the third Rs 549.40 crore. The first package was won by L&T which quoted 1.2 per cent lower bid than its rivals, Mega Engineering quoted 0.5 per cent less for the second package and Nagarjuna quoted 0.40 per cent less for the third.
