Telangana Rashtra Samiti will continue its winning streak, says Gangula Kamalakar

Graduates asked to think wise before casting vote.

Karimnagar: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti swept the Assembly and local body elections that were held recently in the state and is going to continue its winning streak in the upcoming MLC and Lok Sabha elections stated the Karimangar MLA Gangula Kamalakar here on Tuesday.

Speaking to the press persons, Mr Kamalakar said that in the past, Mr Swamy Goud from TRS party was elected from Karimnagar graduate constituency with bumper majority and in this elections the TRS was extending its support to Mr Mamindla Chandrashekar Goud.

There were many public representatives who had been elected from local bodies and from Assembly segments in the recently held elections, but there was a need to elect Mr Mamindla Chandrashekar Goud for the continuation of developmental works which were under progress, he added.

Mr Kamalakar appealed to the party cadre to meet every graduate voter and explain the need to elect Mr Goud in the upcoming MLC elections.

The TRS has supported the MLC candidate from Karimangar Graduate constituency. Mr Chandrashekar Goud said that he was contesting in the MLC polls after submitting his resignation from Group-I Officers’ post as a deputy transport commissioner and had sought blessings from Chief Minister Mr K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Mr Goud said that MLC elections were meant for intellectuals who could act as a bridge between the educated unemployed youth and the government and could talk to the government about various issues they had. But some of the leaders who were already defeated in political battle and rejected by the people were contesting in MLC elections for political survival, he alleged. “Several peoples’ organisations and student unions extended their support and are striving hard by meeting every graduate voter present in all the four districts of Karimnagar, Adilabad, Medak and Nizamabad of graduate constituency for registering a grand victory in the MLC elections,” Mr Goud informed.

He assured that he would act as a bridge between educated unemployed youth and the government and would try to resolve all the problems if he was elected.
