Karimnagar: Give chance to women in MLC polls, says Rani Rudrama Devi
Karimnagar: Karimnagar Graduate MLC candidate and TV journalist Rani Rudrama Devi here on Tuesday said that she was aware of all issues the teachers, lecturers and unemployed youth were facing and urged them to give her a chance to become their voice in the Council.
As part of MLC election campaign, she visited various educational institutions and met the teachers, lecturers and staff members along with women graduates and urged them to cast their first priority vote for her in coming up MLC elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms Rani Rudrama Devi said that she was the only woman candidate who was contesting in the MLC elections and if given a chance as an MLC, she would strive hard to resolve all the problems the unemployed youth and government and private employees were facing.
She further said that she was aware of all the problems and could fight for suspension of Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) and exert pressure on the Government for sanctioning of PRC, IR in time to state government employees and for providing job security to employees working in private organisations along with providing for equal pay for equal work.
"Educationists, intellectuals, employees, unemployed youth and women are coming forward in large numbers and are extending their support to me. I will never let them down and will try my level best to solve all their issues if I get elected as MLC", she assured.
