Sparrows' nests should be hung far from the reach of humans.
One must ensure that sparrows are sighted at least in a 1-km radius from the location where the nest is to be installed.
Hyderabad: Interested people can collect scientifically designed sparrows’ nests, made of cardboard and insulated from inside, from Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University or contact Dr V. Vasudeva Rao on 9440411166.
In 2015, 476 such nests were distributed by PJTSAU across various places in Telangana. Of these 303 were occupied by sparrows.
