Vijayawada: The city is witnessing new lifestyles and trends with unique concepts and marketing techniques after AP’s new capital city Amaravati is proposed near Vijayawada. The local body VMC has also recommended Vijay-awada city for metropolitan status. Consequently, new lifestyles are being introduced in the city in various manners. As part of it, now the Vijayawada Dabbawala with the inspiration of Mumbai Dabbawala service, for carrying and delivering of lunch boxes, has been introduced for the citizens. The Vijaya-wada Dabbawala has been floated for supplying carriers to employees from their door-steps.
B. Srinivasa Raju, a city-based new entrepreneur, made the effort to introduce something new for citizens. Now he has 40 members as customers within a short span of one month after launching his establishment. Besides, all the marketing services, including plot and flats for rental and sale purposes, along with domestic services like electrician and plumber are also available just at a phone call and click away to customers.
Mr Thota Srinivasa Rao, a city-based realtor, has planned to introduce all services from one roof with a website. He said that all public services will be available in the website area-wise across the city. People can select the services as per their wish by searching the credentials of local service providers. Likewise, several exhibitions are being conducted for selling and purchasing garments, jewellery and agriculture products too. According to reports, exhibitions for selling various products are now common in various parts of the city.
Marriage halls and hotels are also always busy with such exhibitions. Now the housing-keeping and medical services are also available at door-steps in the city. Marketing expert K. Vijaya Raghava said that the new trends in city are indicating the increasing potentiality of city market and new developments.
