Pawan Kalyan has no base in Seema, says YSRC
Kurnool: YSR Congress Kurnool Parliamentary in-charge B.Y. Ramaiah said that there was no place for Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan in Kurnool district and his efforts would be futile in Rayalaseema.
When asked what imp-act Pawan Kalyan could have on the winnability of Jana Sainiks, Mr Ramaiah said that the YSRC was going from strength to strength and Rayalaseema was a stronghold of the party. 80 percent of the seats in Rayalaseema would go in favour of Jaganmohan Reddy and as such, other parties had to play only on the fringes, he said.
On Tuesday Mr Ramaiah organised milk ablutions on the statues of Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy as a mark of gratitude for caring for backward communities in the state. He said after the BC declaration at Eluru, there was a tectonic shift in favour of the YSRC.
TD district president Somisetty Venkatesw-arlu said that the BC declaration has nothing new and the TD was already implementing it while Jagan was doing lip service to BCs in the state. On the massive headcount at Eluru for the BC declaration, Somisetty said that the crowd was brought from the Telangana districts and buses and other vehicles bearing TS registration were boldly found on the roads after the meet.
