Chandrababu Naidu takes the low road on PM

With reference to the Pulwama attack, Mr Naidu claimed that Mr Modi was capable of doing any anarchism.

Vijayawada: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday touched a new low while criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, eschewing all sense and dignity and decorum.

Mr Naidu joined West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in making controversial allegations against Mr Modi with regard to the terror attack at Pulwama that claimed the lives of 49 CRPF personnel last week.

He harped on the Godhra riots — something he did not bring up when he supported Mr Modi’s candidature or mention during his alliance with the BJP.

With reference to the Pulwama attack, Mr Naidu claimed that Mr Modi was capable of doing any anarchism. During a teleconference with party leaders on Tuesday, he also brought up the Godhra riots.

“There is discussion happening in the country on Mamata Banerjee’s suspicions over the Pulwama attack. In patriotism and security TD never compromises. Narendra Modi is capable of any anarchism,” he said.
