50 from AP, Telangana make it to Civil services final test

Nearly 15,000 candidates took the exam held from December 18 to 23.

Hyderabad: The results of the civil services main examination were announced by the UPSC on Friday. Nearly 2,800 aspirants have been declared qualified for the next round of personality tests.

Nearly 15,000 candidates took the exam held from December 18 to 23. In all 4.66 lakh aspirants appeared for the Preliminary exam held in August 2015.

According to Brain Tree institute director V Gopala Krishna, nearly 50 candidates were learnt to have qualified for the personality test from AP and TS. Nearly 450 students from the two Telugu-speaking states appeared for the Mains exam.

The interviews for the qualified aspirants who have registered their contact addresses in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are like to commence from second week of March. The results can be expected in the first week of May.
