Telugu Desam cadres start anti-TRS campaign

He added that Telugu Yuvatha and other wings of the TD were taking the hate speeches by TRS leaders to the masses.

Vijayawada: The TD cadres have started a fierce counter war against Telangana Rashtra Samiti among the public and social media in AP State for the past two days. Statements of abuse against a “Telugu Talli” video and comments on making a Dalit the CM of Telangana state by Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Telangana leader T. Harish Rao’s aggressive statement against “Special Category Status” (SCS) to AP and other abusive speeches are being circulated by TD cadres.

Interestingly, TD cadres are also circulating the statement of the then united AP CM Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy about snatching of the assets of the people of Andhra by Telanganites.

All social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram are being blitzed with the TD’s anti-TRS and anti-YSR Congress campaigns.

The TD leaders have made a list of videos of the Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao, his son K.T. Rama Rao, daughter K. Kavitha and his nephew T. Harish Rao and are sharing the YouTube list in all groups on social media platforms. Apart from this, TD leaders, activists, sympathisers, supporters and TD groups are forwarding the list to the people to popularize the hate speeches of TRS leaders.

Significantly, senior TD leaders, on the condition of anonymity, said that Mr Naidu himself tried an alliance with TRS but as Chandrasekhar Rao and his son rejected the proposal, TD turned to archrival Congress and hardcore anti-Andhra leader Prof. Kodandaram and forged an alliance in the recent Telangana election.

Telugu Yuvatha leader Ravipati Saikrishna alleged that TRS leaders by provoking Telugus in the recent Telangana polls won the election and was now trying to provoke people from Andhra against the TD government “unable to digest the fame coming to Mr Naidu at the national level”.

He added that Telugu Yuvatha and other wings of the TD were taking the hate speeches by TRS leaders to the masses.
