Hyderabad: A car driver had miraculous escape when an iron rod fell on his car near Malakpet Metro station where construction works were in progress on Friday. A complaint was filed against L&T for negligence.
Abdul Aziz was driving towards Abids from Dilsukhnagar on Friday. As he was crossing Malakpet Metro station, an iron rod fell on his vehicle, penetrating the bonnet, said the police.
“Based on a complaint from him, we have filed a case under relevant Sections of the IPC against L&T,” said P. Raju, additional inspector of Chader-ghat. The brand new Toyota hatchback did not even have a registration number before the rod damaged it.
