Citizen's Charter with transparency soon: Sridhar Babu

IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu outlines commitment to people-centric governance and resolving grievances promptly.

Warangal: IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu said that the Congress governance would introduce a Citizen’s Charter soon besides bringing transparency and accountability in governance.

Speaking at a general body meeting of the Mandal Praja Parishad held at the MPDO office in Manthani of Peddapalli district on Monday, the minister said that the newly formed Congress government would work with accountability for the welfare of people instead of person-centric governance.

The minister directed the officials to be alert and respond to the grievances submitted by the people within a stipulated time frame. If the issue belongs to any other department, the officials should convey it to the officials concerned without forcing the people to run pillar to post, he stressed.

He alleged that the previous BRS government emptied the state treasury. He urged the sarpanches not to make any hasty decisions as the Congress government would try to resolve all their issues.

Despite facing several obstacles, the Congress was determined to implement the Six Guarantees aiming at establishing people’s government for their welfare, he added.
