Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Wednesday has issued Form-1 notice to Gampa Govardhan, MLA, Kamareddy Assembly and along with the Principal Secretary of Revenue and District Collector of Kamareddy to appear before it, for going ahead with the construction of the TRS Party office in Kamareddy, even though the HC has restrained the State from constructing the TRS party office in private property land.
Justice Challa Kodandaram was dealing with a contempt case filed by N. Pratap Reddy and another from Kamareddy, alleging that the TRS party office is being constructed in their property, despite of court orders to do not construct. An extent of Ac.1-20 guntas land of the petitioners located in Vadloor village of Kamareddy district was identified by the Revenue Officials for the purpose of construction of the TRS party office. Opposing such a move, both the petitioners had filed a Petition , in which the Court directed the authorities not to interfere with the petitioners’ property.
Even though there was an interim order, the construction of the TRS party office is going on, aggrieved by the action of the State, the petitioners filed a Contempt Case. The Judge issued Form-1 Notice to Somesh Kumar, Principal Secretary of Revenue, Satyanarayana, the District Collector, K. Rajender Kumar, RDO of Kamareddy revenue division, MRO of Kamareddy and Gampa Govardhan directing them to appear before the court in four weeks.
