Hyderabad: The youth who went missing in the unfortunate incident was a son of the Ramannapet’s Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Rasheed.
Speaking to this newspaper, Mr Rasheed said, he met his son Junaid almost two years back during his daughter’s wedding.
“He was asking my permission to come and meet me when I had a minor stroke couple of weeks ago. I told him to stay there and pursue his studies, not knowing that I would not see him again. We used to talk and share photos over WhatsApp every day,” said the grief-struck father.
Junaid was staying in Australia on a student VISA and was also making money through part-time jobs. The search teams will resume search operations on Wednesday morning.
