Three killed in road accidents in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Three persons, including a pedestrian, were killed in different incidents at Rajendranagar, Bachupally and Medchal on Monday.
An unknown person walking on the road sustained injuries and succumbed at ho-spital after being hit by an unknown vehicle, police said. He was likely walking on the Expressway towards Mehdipatnam when he was hit by an unknown vehicle fro-m behind. The man got flung in the air off the Expressway and landed on theroad near Pillar No. 258.
In another incident at Bachupally, a youth working in a meat shop was run over by a speeding lorry. The deceased, Mohammed Aziz Miya, 19, a resident of Hafeezpet, was run over by speeding lorry No. TS 08 UA 3499 which hit him from behind, killing him on the spot. In yet another incident at Medchal, a daily wage earner died after he sustained a head injury while unloading hea-vy pipes from a truck at a warehouse. The deceased, B. Raju, 21, was told to help out in shifting gas pipes from a truck to the warehouse at Pudur. While at work, one of the pipes rolled down from the truck and fell on Raju’s head who was standing beside the truck. He sustained a head injury and died on the spot.
