Vijayawada: The Administrative Staff College of India, with the support of the State Energy Conservation Mission, organised a workshop on "Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) implementation in the state of AP". Prof. Raj Kiran Bilolikar, ASCI, supervised the workshop in Vijayawada.
Mr Venu Gopal, president, IIA, stressed the need to go for energy efficient goods. CREDAI also extended support to the ECBC implementation by real estate developers. Chief guest Chandrasekhar Reddy, CEO of SECM, quoted the exemplary vision of the chief minister about energy efficiency. He said that the DTCP is incorporating mandatory ECBC compliance online.
Prof. Raj Kiran Billolikar conducted proceedings of the workshop and trained the participants on components of GO 119 with ECBC perspective and Ms Soumya and Mr Krishnudu appraised the participants on technical components of ECBC. Senior architects, real estate developers (CREDAI members) and other government officials attended the workshop.
