Khammam: Less than three months or, precisely, 88 days, remain for the commencement of Class X exams. Students preparing for the exam are making various mistakes in studying the subjects. The teaching community started concentrating on trying to detect the mistakes and flaws by the student while studying in order to correct them. It was found that many students were giving importance to high mark questions and concentrating on them while neglecting bits that carry only one and two marks. Such students are being explained the importance of bits and their marks. "If you lost marks in bit questions, the total would come down," N. Srinivas, a teacher, said, adding that they are noticing the defects of the students and trying to correct it. Apart from this, the students were asked to concentrate on chapters from where more questions are likely to be asked. The teachers identified the chapters and explained them to the students.
Pertaining to the English subject, the students were asked to be cautious while writing a passage. They should try not to make mistakes in writing or make spelling mistakes. Writing should be neat and not resort to strikes on the paper. Reading the question and understanding them is very important and time should be given for it. Teams of teacher were constituted to explain to students how the answers were evaluated. Because, the education system is being held on continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) system, the valuation of papers will be different from earlier ways. A student who knew it, will write well in the exams. In another plan, the students were divided into excel and poor. The students, who are showing excel are being encouraged by giving small prizes to them. The students, who will be poor, will be adopted by the teachers.
