Chennai: Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam on Sunday evening met Governor CH Vidyasagar Rao, on the eve of his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Mr Panneerselvam met Mr Rao at the Raj Bhavan here
at around 6.30 pm on Sunday.
Though official sources said it was a “courtesy call”, the meeting assumes significance as it comes on the eve of his visit to New Delhi to meet Mr Modi on relief measures related to Cyclone Vardah.
