Hyderabad: Four youngsters who were returning home, after an outing on the outskirts of the city, were killed in a ghastly accident on the Outer Ring Road near Dongala Maisamma temple in Thumkunta on Sunday evening.

The SUV they were travelling in went out of control at a steep curve on the ORR, hit a median and overturned multiple times before falling off the ORR. The victims were identified as Vignesh Singh, 22, Rahul, 21, Aurobinder Singh, 25, and Mario, 20, all residents of Marredpally in Secunderabad.

Four of their friends who were in another vehicle ahead, did not even know of the incident. The eight friends from Secunderabad were returning from an outing when the second vehicle (AP 29AW 0939) driven by Vignesh went out of control on a curve, hit the median, was flung into the air and after turning turtle several times came down crashing in the bushes off the ORR.
