Kothagudem: Teacher assaulted for kicking two students for ‘bunking’

Kothagudem: A teacher in Budidagadda primary school here was thrashed by parents of two third Standard students after he kicked them both for loitering outside the classroom and skipping his class.

According to available details, Avinash and Sandesh, who were seen moving outside the classroom, ignored the class teacher Gandhi, who asked them to attend the class. Furious at their refusal, Gandhi kicked the two boys on their stomach. Avinash fell down and sustained an injury. The teachers and principal took them to a hospital where the doctors attended to the injuries. Parents and relatives of Avinash and Sandesh barged into the school and thrashed Mr Gandhi, who suffered minor injuries. Police rushed to the spot and convinced the relatives of the kids to stay calm.

Cases have been filed against the attackers, including Chitti, Sambasiva Rao, Rani, Laddu, Deepu and Swetha, for obstructing the duties of a government employee.
