Hyderabad: Yadav Sangham leaders staged a protest at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday alleging that the Congress has not given their community importance in the upcoming elections.
Yadav Sangham state president Babu Rao said, “Out of 119 constituencies, the Congress has given us one seat. We want at least five seats and if the Congress cannot provide that, we will not work with them.”
Meanwhile, Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao spoke to them and said that he will take up the issue with the high command.
Mr Kyama Mallesh who expected a ticket from Ibrahimpatnam constituency/es also targeted the Congress saying that leaders belonging to one particular community distributed the tickets among themselves.
