Kothagudem: Twelve girls studying in the tribal girls residential school at Annapureddipalli in Kothagudem district took ill after consuming food on Sunday, according to reports reaching here.
The students experienced vomiting and stomach ache and complained to the teacher when it became unbearable. The warden was not present at the time of the incident and the teacher rushed them to the hospital there.
When reports last came in, they were undergoing treatment. The condition of all the 12 students was stated to be stable and they were responding to the treatment.
