Revanth Reddy calls for unity as TPCC unable to fight cases
Hyderabad: Telangana Congress leaders are worrying about the cases that have been filed against them. As the cases were filed over issues of personal nature, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is unable to help them fight it out in the court. Though the TPCC is making allegation on the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), they are yet meet the Governor to complain about the same.
The Congress is now targeting the police department alleging that the police is colluded with the TRS government. TPCC general secretary Sravan Dasoju said, “Each and everyone in the party are united and will fight against the government and the police in a democratic way. We are worried about the situation in the state. We will soon raise certain issues before the Election Commission. It is true that the police has turned into TRS agents. The pink covers on their chairs and car seats show their love towards TRS.” Dasoju said the TRS government was using the police to suppress the agitation.
“If this was done during the Congress tenure, then the dream of Telangana would not have come true. Intellectuals like Mr Kodandaram, Chukka Ramiah, G. Haragopal are being dragged into controversy by the police, which was not even done during undivided Andhra Pradesh. These are the examples that show there is no democracy in the state.”
