Hyderabad: Crossing the Oliphant underpass is an adventure, thanks to road congestion caused by Metro Rail works. When it rains it becomes worse as motorists can’t see the potholes that are filled with rainwater. But then, this stretch is a historical problem.
One Mr Vijay Kumar lost his mobile phone which fell out his pocket while negotiating the potholes. A vehicle ran over it before he could pick it up.
Other tough stretches are the road leading to DBR junction and the road near Gaushala on Lower Tank Bund. Potholes were repaired before Ganesh Chaturthi but the recent rains undid all the work.
