Hyderabad: The government has changed the upper age limit for the ongoing recruitment of women multipurpose health assistants (MPHA) (F).
The upper age limit, which was previously 44 years, has now been raised to 49 years in the recruitment process managed by the Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB). This change aims to improve the selection process and expand the possibilities for outsourcing personnel and contracts.
An additional 146 positions have been added to the initial 1,520 vacancies and the previously announced 265 additional posts by TVVP have also been included in this notification. This brings the total number of MPHA posts to 1,931.
The increase in the number of positions was based on a re-evaluation of the scoring system. Previously, 80 points were allocated for the written examination and 20 points were given for service. Under the new system, 70 points will be assigned to the written test and a maximum of 30 points will be awarded for government service. Additionally, candidates who have served in tribal areas will receive 2.5 points for every six months of service, while those in non-tribal regions will receive 2 points for the same duration of service.
