Hyderabad: Medical representative’s body found

According to Meerpet inspector N. Yadaiah, the victim was identified as Kandi Sandeep, 30, a resident of Jillelaguda under Meerpet.

Hyderabad: A medical representative in the city was found dead under suspicious conditions in front of his house at Meerpet on Sunday morning.

The police suspects that the man could have been murdered and has sent the body for the post-mortem examination to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary.

According to Meerpet inspector N. Yadaiah, the victim was identified as Kandi Sandeep, 30, a resident of Jillelaguda under Meerpet. For the last 10 years, the family was living at Meerpet, the inspector said.

He said that the family told the police that Sandeep was last seen at 11.30 pm on Saturday when he was watching television.

After some time, a woman living in a neighbouring house told the police that she heard some people quarrelling. When she came out and checked, a person was lying on the road.

She thought that it could be a drunk and did not pursue the matter, said the inspector.

“Sandeep had a bleeding injury on his head. We suspect that the murder could have taken place between 12 am and 2 am,” the inspector said.

There are no CCTV cameras installed in the neighbourhood. Police is analysing pictures from nearby cameras.

A case of murder has been registered and the investigation has been taken up. “A team is working on the clues picked up at the site,” said the inspector.
