Hyderabad: The state government transferred IPS officers on Wednesday. Soumya Mishra, a 1994 batch officer, was appointed as the additional director general of police, personnel. V.B. Kamalasan Reddy, who previously held the position of inspector general of police, personnel, was transferred and assigned as the director general of police, drugs control.
In another move, A.R. Srinivas, who served as the additional commissioner of police, crime, in Hyderabad, was transferred and appointed as the director general of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
Ambar Kishore Jha, a 2009 batch IPS officer who was awaiting posting, was designated as the deputy inspector general of police, home guards.
Lastly, P. Sabharish, who previously held the position of Hyderabad deputy commissioner of police, was transferred and posted as the deputy commissioner of police, Medchal.
