Andhra Pradesh Cabinet clears Land Title Bill

Among the Bills approved was one facilitating tenant farmers to make agreements for cultivation.

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet that met under the leadership of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy took some important decision on Thursday, and approved various Bills that will be presented in the state Assembly during the ongoing sessions.

Among the Bills approved was one facilitating tenant farmers to make agreements for cultivation.

The Cabinet also approved a Framework Bill for changes in Land Title Registration System to curb land disputes.

The Cabinet ratified the decision taken by the state government to provide electricity to aqua farmers at Rs 1.50 per unit Special officers will be appointed to take care of the administration in local bodies like Mandal Parishads and Zilla Parishads in the state.
