UDF report on education sector in two months
Thiruvananthapuram: The committee appointed by the UDF to study problems in the education sector has decided to submit an interim report within two months.
A meeting of the panel held here on Tuesday also decided to submit its full report within four months. The next sitting will be on July 2. They will al-so convene zonal sittings in Kochi and Kozhikode.
A state-level seminar will be convened in Thiruvananthapuram at the end of this month to study problems and solutions related to Khadar Committee report.
Views of the public, teachers, students and managers will be taken before finalising the report. The suggestions on national education policy will be submitted to the UDF on June 26.
Former Sree Sankara Sanskrit University VC M. C. Dileep Kumar is heading the committee with RGNIYD former controller for examinations and dean V. Raghu, SCERT former director K. A. Hashim and Abraham Joseph as members.
