KT Rama Rao vows to solve revenue issues

Hyderabad: Municipal administration minister K.T. Rama Rao resolved revenue-related issues which came up during the recent ‘Mana Nagaram’ town hall meeting taken up in LB Nagar constituency. Mr Rama Rao instructed department officials to resolve the issue quickly.

Commenting on the problems with regard to land in Surveys No. 104, 102 at a review meeting held here on Monday, Mr Rama Rao said the issues must be resolved within 15 days. People who have occupied government land want regularisation. He directed Ranga Reddy district collector Raghunandan Rao to look into the issue.

He assured that the issues pertaining to land in LB Nagar constituency would be discussed in the Monsoon Session of the Legislative Assembly to provide a permanent solution

He said that the government would examine the issue of Surveys No. 44 and 45 in Mansoorabad, where constructions were taken up on 17 acres of land in 2007. The minister said that the government would give one more chance to residents living in Press Colony and Vambay colony to regularise their lands under government orders 58 and 59.

The minister also clarified that the government would not provide any relief to structures constructed in full tank levels of water bodies. He said the government would demolish such structures after issuing notices and would not interfere in the issue.

Mr Rama Rao instructed GHMC zonal commissioner, East, S. Srinivas Reddy to construct a sports complex at Green Park Colony where 3,200 square yards of land is available.

He said that a separate meeting will be convened by Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali and Wakf Board officials to resolve issues pertaining to Survey No. 71 in Sahebnagar. He clarified that the corporation wold construct double bedroom houses in sites which have clear title deeds.
